Position Overview

The Creative Writer will work closely with the Creative and Social Media Department to create, publish, and manage ongoing communication for social communities of clients. The Creative Writer will also represent multiple brands across various industries, and must be able to express a brand’s value and voice effectively via social platforms and directly engage with consumers to inspire confidence in the company’s products or services. The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills, have a clear eye for detail, write creatively, and adjust the tone and content direction depending on the needs and objectives of the client. Comfortable reaching out to journalists to increase brand awareness. Good time management is an essential skill and we expect the Creative Writer to adopt a professional approach to all projects. We are searching for an individual who are comfortable writing for a diverse range of clients. In addition to these skills, we are looking for a candidate who also has extensive knowledge, experience, and passion of social applications.


Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide compelling, innovative writing for multiple clients across multiple social channels for blogs and articles
  • Build relationships with journalists to promote brand affinity
  • Can effectively build and manage a brand voice appropriate for specific social channels for clients
  • Produce quality content on a tight timeline and work in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic environment
  • Develop a content marketing strategy
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions and creative concept development
  • Understand and represent a client’s business objectives, as well as their product or service, to present it properly through creative content
  • Work collaboratively with Account Mangers to develop creative content strategies that will compel a client’s community to interact with the brand
  • Provide additional support to the creative team as needed
  • Assist with graphic design needs where applicable with content
  • Comfortable experimenting with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities (“marketing R&D”)
  • Post original content for each account that you oversee


  • Minimum of two years of creative writing for digital assets (emails, websites, social media, Ads, etc.)
  • Demonstrated expertise of creative or professional online copy
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills
  • Knowledgeable in digital communication including social media, online reputation management, mobile, and more
  • Graphic design skills a plus
  • Background in customer service a plus
